You will travel throughout the US to provide training and technical procedure support in the field as well as in our headquarters in Redmond, WA, primarily to pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons and bronchoscopy staff. This is a six-month contract position, at which time we will evaluate next steps.

The Requirements
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

A bachelor's degree in nursing, science or other applicable technical field. Appropriate relevant on-the-job experience may be substituted for the minimum educational requirement.

Three to five years of experience in clinical AND industry training roles, preferably in the pulmonary field.

Intraoperative experience and knowledge of the protocols and "etiquette" of operating rooms.

A demonstrated ability to train and provide technical procedure support to both physicians and technical staff.

Experience and proven proficiency with various training models.

Familiarity with basic computer programs (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and associated systems.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong working relationship with sales, marketing and training teams.

Solid problem solving skills.
You also will need to be willing and able to travel 75% of the time, sometimes on short notice (one or two days) to respond to emergent cases. We're looking for a proven "road warrior" with a history of extensive work-related travel. This is a home-based role and you will need to live near a major airport.
The Role
You will report to the Global Director of Training and Commercial Development and support U.S. Account Managers and others. Your mission will be to provide technical procedure support and training to pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons and bronchoscopy staff at approved U.S. institutions as well as home office and regional-based programs.
Your activities will include:

Providing technical support at procedures in accordance to Spiration policies on an as-needed basis, with geographic coverage of the entire US.

Working with the training team to train physicians at in-house and regional training programs.

Assuming responsibility for training model preparation, ordering, maintenance and shipping for physician training as well as other events requiring the use of training models.

Performing other duties as necessary and assigned.

Complying with all applicable state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
